ZR8000 muffler shootout

We've got a 2014 ZR8000 scheduled for stage tuning in a couple of weeks. I'm planning the week of 11/24 to dyno test as many aftermarket mufflers as we can obtain. Test will include dB reading at idle and WOT, airflow CFM and backpressure psi, and torque and HP. To save us from having to buy (and then sell on ebay) a dozen mufflers, we're looking for "loaners" of new or slightly used mufflers to test on the stock 800. People who provide loaner mufflers will have them returned by insured priority mail right after the test, and receive free 3 year DTR memberships ($50 value) or membership extensions. If you have a muffler (or any other bolt-on thing) that you'd like to see tested compared to stock and the others, please call me any time 585-993-2777.

so far I have D&D, SLP, Jaws and SanDale mufflers coming. Also a Jaws pipe which I didn't have in the single pipe shootout we did in 2012. Still looking for other mufflers and bolt-on stuff.

I would try to get an HPS, Skinz and Cutler to compare.

I'm pretty confident the HPS would come out on top.
