you gots to see this!

That's pretty cool, I love the draftsman at the beginning with the pipe in his mouth. That's awesome!!

Amazing cornice drop there too ! That's a really good commercial, thanks for posting !

The side-hilling puts mine to shame ;-)

Notice the lack of Klim gear and helmets on the riders.

Love the engineer sitting in front of a drafting table with pipe in mouth....the good ole days.

Trees are for traction.....has been round a long time. My grandfather had a Mustang, and a colt. Rode them all the time when we were little kids. You didn't so much go over the snow, as you went through it. The 74 AC 340cheeta we had at home, was a hot rod compared to those two. Spent as much time fixing them as riding. Memories

Did all of you lower 48'ers notice they are called Snowmachines, not Snowmobiles? Us Alaskan's are always given a bad rap on here for using the term snowmachine.

Thanks for posting the video! It was cool to see the old iron running. I have a super mountaineer and a voyager.

For me, Snowmachine sounds to much like Sewing Machine. But hey, you have to admit they did look pretty Flickable. :face-icon-small-dis

For what it's worth, when I started to ride back in 62 or 63 we called it "SKI DOOING"! The old ski doo was a 8 hp, dad drove, I rode on the back of the ski doo facing backwards ;o and mom and her cousin rode on the wooden toboggan we had tied to the skidoo with A rope! Talk about an accedent waiting to happen!
We really tore up Grand Lake Mn up by Duluth Mn. LOLOL
Sometimes I think back to those days and think we had just as much fun back then, much simpler times, that's for sure!

Wow just reread my post before posting, I have been riding for 50 years!

Happy New Year to all "Snowmachiners, Snowmobilers, and SKI DOOERS!

Definatly caught on to that! I'm going to have to send that to the girlfriends family. They are all from Montana and look a me like I'm crazy when I say snowmachine.

That's it! I'm putting some cleats on so I can side hill.

That dog sled at the beginning needs a 10" riser....

I had to watch it a few times, but I recognize quite a few of the areas they filmed around Sun Valley and the Sawtooth National Forest.
