Yet another KMOD "Complaint"

So I talked with Kevin at the Boise sled show because I was interested in narrowing my pro. I asked him why I should buy his kit because there were other products out there that were cheaper etc. To my surprise, he didn't bash his competitors products,he started off by complimenting them. Then he just explained why he designed his the way he did. Totally caught me off guard.

After listening to his sales pitch, I went ahead and bought his kit (pretty convincing explanation).

Rode my sled last weekend and even though it was not deep enough for prime time, I was having so much fun with the new front end that I couldn't help myself. I rode hard and was having an awesome time - first time the pro felt right to me.

So bottomless/baseless snow pack, plenty deep but with no base, you can guess where this is going. Uncovered 2 rocks, both threw me off and flipped the sled. First hit, I expected to have lost an a-arm. But all was good. Made me a little nervous that Kevins design might be to stout and take out the bulkhead. 2nd hit (same side) I knew I did some damage. Got down and looked it over real close and only found the lower a-arm on the side that I hit on had a small wrinkle. Was able to ride the rest of the day without really worrying about it - kink was pretty small.

That happened on Saturday. And here is where my rant starts - Sunday morning I checked and he was online here so asked him if I could give him a call. He took my order on a Sunday and today (Tuesday) I came home to a new lower a-arm waiting for me to install.

Seems ridiculous to me that our suppliers cant work a little harder to get us our parts. I ordered this part on Sunday morning and it was on my doorstep on Tuesday. Thats 2 days! Come on man, that only leaves me 3 days to get it replaced before the weekend.

Ok, rambled long enough - point is, can't believe the turn-around. It's all about awesome products and customer service...Kevin knows how to deliver it and I sure appreciate it. Love that front end, wish I could afford to do the rear skid too. BTW - this is his front end (37") stock WE's and stock springs, setup is soooo good, cant wait to try some springs with it.... will be a while before I try'em cause it feels perfect the way it is.

ok, off the soap box. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin is hands down one of, if not the best supplier that I deal with! Can't say enough good things about him, his products, or his customer service!

I can't believe you bent one of his arms and didn't bend your sled or crack the bulkhead. His lower arms are pretty crazy stout

Don't be fooled by Kevin clealy explaining his products and quickly getting replacement parts to you in short order. He is doing all of this because of deep rooted selfishness. He secretly knows that by producing quality parts, explaining how they will improve your sled, and quickly getting you replacement parts. You will no doubt be spending more time and enjoying yourself ignoring the risk of hitting hidden objects under the snow. and incurring more damages so his nasty cycle of you returning to spend more and more money on products that surprise!! surprise!!! he has in stock and can get you back on the quickly keeping this vicious cycle going. He is grooming you to be a long term satisfied happy customer and no body likes to be in that position. Watch yourself gentlmen

Just installed the 37" front end on mine, can't try them till next week but I can say it was one of the best fitting and easiest to install mods I've ever done. Quality is a 9.5 (nobody is perfect) Lol

If you can muster it, get his skid. It's the real deal. I have one on my '14 and got another one for my Axys, both have the K Motion.

I too, would like to "complain". Kevin is a class act! Not many in the industry that will stand by their products like Kevin does. I have had nothing but awesome experiences talking and buying from him. When I bite the bullet and buy my Axys the first mod on it will be the Kmod rear skid. You can not go wrong with Kevin or his product.

I had a problem caused by Kmod. It's a personal injury situation.
I ordered some parts on a Monday and they arrived on a Thursday. Maybe even on wed I'm not sure.
Parts arrived so fast and the packaging was carefully put together so nicely that I fell over and hit my head.
Quality of parts-excellent.

Finally had a chance to get my sled out to the mountains with the kmod setup, worked fantastic. My old skid would not have stood a chance against the things i put it through.

Its funny because on the way down after the day, everyone asks at the bottom how i can sit and ride through moguls (passing them) that they can barely ride through standing.

Shocks are currently out for a freshen up and eyelet swap to test out the kmotion next trip.

Kmod and raptors, awesome setup.
