Yamaha trailing arms question!

I know that this is for mountain guys, which I do also ride, but I need to ask a question about a 99 SRX. I am building a ice oval racer and the SRX I bought needs both trailing arms. Will trailing arms off of a late 90's VMax or a SX fit on the SRX? All of the part numbers say not, but some people say that they do. Any help would be great so we can get that Yammi out on the ice and kick some Polaris and Doo butt. Thanks!

Any of the trailing arms will "fit". The difference is in the mounting location of the radius rods. The OEM arms have a letter stampped in the front of them which identifies them. Since this is an ice racer I would guess you will be lowering the front end and adjusting your camber anyway so if you have a set, put them on. Eric
