Hi Shane, ...very happy to have been able to help out, ..anytime that you know you're coming our way, let us know, ..we'd enjoy showing you around, ..and checking out your "Twisted" sleds.

Hi Brent, (Modsledr), ...your idea of an "extra" with some narrative commentary could be very cool..... Veedy certainly knows lots of great guys that would make for some very colourful and interesting entertainment.

Cheers as well.

You guys have such a wealth of knowledge for the history of the place, it would be cool to have it on a vid (you know, before you get too old to remember! :D )...or maybe just a sit down over some buddy lights...that's a camfire I'd pay to sit at!!

It's always a pleasure to ride with you guys and get to see some of the off the beaten track areas. Like you, I'm already looking forward to next year!! :beer; :beer; :beer;

I completely agree. I would very much enjoy hearing and seeing some older sledheads talking about what it was like as they ventured further into the backcountry each year, rode and named new places, and how their machines changed how and what they did each year. I would like to share that knowledge with my son as well. Veedy, I believe you have the best venue and relations to do it. Feel free to call me anytime and I would be more than willing to help on composition ideas, editing, etc. on you producing it. You know my history already and I am not using that knowledge much right now, I would like to put it to use for something like this. :beer;

Its been anouther fantastic season of sledding, every season seems to just get better and better. Meeting so many great new people year after year is definatly my favourite part of the sport! Sure cant wait for next season!!!

In the words of Big Dog..... SUMMER SUCKS!!!

It is hard to believe the sledding season is over, but today seems like it just might have been the first day of a summer to come, .....sunny and hot. Just last weekend we were slaying chutes with fresh snow.

Summer doesn't actually suck, .....it's just different, time to start getting out to the boat.

See you all soon.

Thats funny I remember when it took us 3 hours to get to the cabin and then think the next day was going to be awesome...only to have it snow 2.5-3 feet overnight and have to do it all over again...That was back in 89..on short track exciters, and we thought they were awesome..They even had the shootout drags at the cabin when 70 mph was real fast.lol

Last year at Revelstoke snowmobile club's 40th anniversary bash there were a lot of pic's from way back, The freight train pic's were most impressive, One sled would not go through the powder so they would tie 10 sled's bumper to bumper and break trail
Papa Veedy probably has some old pic's
Let me tell ya, these were manly Men
How many of us would get up sunday morning and do that?

Thanks iamvector that video was bringing back some old times. We did things on those rides that were,in those times radical.Like modsledr said it would be an honor to see the old iron. Cheers Red Dog.

the "Old Days" stories

Put me down for a video with the "old days" stories. I love that stuff. I'm sure there are some very entertaining stories and story tellers.

Wow, ...I'm having withdrawals or something, ...searching through old threads for a fix...................................................., it can't be OVER for the season...??????????

It is clear to me now, ........there should be 6 months of sledding season, ..leading directly into 6 months of summer, then switching back to full scale winter, ...lets just drop the in-between seasons, who needs Spring and Fall???????? Just sleds and boats....and .....Babes!!!!!!!!!!!

OK.......... Hot Rod Cars are cool too......

..and come to think of it, ....so ar Bud Light Limes...

Cheers to everyone who wish's it was still winter and we were still riding....!!!!!!!!

Mike was working and unable to make it......work sucks! I know he really wanted to be there and im sure we can count on him for next year.
