The trick I figured out is to shorten the allen key that you are using. Once you get them off, go down to your local nut & bolt supply house and cross reference them with longer ones. Then get yourself some 3/8" instrument stainless steel tubing and cut some sleeves for the longer bolts. Make the sleeves only so long that the original thread length is sticking out of the end. Get some NORD LOCK washers and put them between the head of the longer screw and the sleeves. By doing this, you are giving the threads of you bolts more room for stretch which in turn gives you a tighter fit on you bolt threads and more room for access to your bolt heads. I promise, you will NEVER have a PITA time trying to get your Y pipe off . That and the Y pipe bolts will never loosen up on you again. I'll see if I can post some pics on here with what i looks like. Hope this helps.
