My buddy Tom is making these vents. I have been running them for a few weeks now with great success. I hit lots of trees with no tearing (big plus for me). Tom is a great guy to work with too. Couldn't agree with you more. I just purchased two sets of these for me and a buddies sleds, installed mine and the fit is incredible. I was so happy to be finished with 3 or 4 rivets and washers left over, really thoughtful to throw in these few extras, for the pennies it cost him the thought is worth tonnes.

We didn't get the knee vent as shown as I don't think they are a good idea, my knees always seem to be pressing on or bumping (sometimes slamming) into this part of the panel. Tom replaced the knee vents with the upper panel vents and they are amazing. personally I would reccomend this switch to others also.

They are totally bomber and I don't anticipate ever being able to damage these vents. Tom was awesome to deal with and was always quick to reply to my questions and shipped in a moments notice.

just tested mine through some lumberjacking treesnapping boondocking.........i have scrapes and marks across the vents onto the panels............they held up excellent..im sure the others would have torn..if they left marks in the panels u know we were doing some de-limbing.................one small complaint is 1/2 of the set didnt have pre-drilled holes...not that big of a deal but the fabric was catching a little as i drilled them.not enough that the rivet didnt cover it though......ill see if i can post some pics of the scrapes going across them..............they were good advertising as a guy saw them and was going to order.........and i have the knee vents.................on descent from a climb or boondocking i always ride with my knees pressed to the panels(one of the main reasons i sold my "other" vents(im sure they would have pushed in) and ordered xtremes.................oh and u can feel the heat coming out!

Here are my EXTREME air vents!! Work well easy to install and even come with black rivets. I also put the extreme vent in the top of my air box.. Great setup! Thanks Tom

Did you put washers on both sides of the rivet, or did you just put the ones supplied on the wrong side?

I thought a little extra support would help.. I have smacked a few trees and have not had any damage what so ever to these vents.. Great Product!!
