definately worth it especially with the power to weight ratio. 3 lbs per horsepower.

have one ,only probs was hand wrmr,fuel gauge fuse,860 miles on 166 belt with no alignment issues,trail hills lot of boon dockin,had paul at (Rooster Built)doo the clutch not poss it needed it but the belt and shivs r cooler,went mt st helens last weekend for the first time, to see how the clutch works on a long pull,pulls forever 8000-8200 ,handles great,just a couple small issues then put gas in it and ride,friends have m7,8s ,overheating hard starting hot or cold,dragons 800 shocks blow out w/in 2-4 rides front rear dont matter,belt issues more than my xp,poo doesnt seem to have the seat of the pant feeling oohh schmit im gonna make it 2 o8 / 1 09 / hard starting on the poos also goes through plugs.the 09 rider has a rt and 800 rev say he shouldve stayed loyal.
it piped can reeds air box mods says his 04 rev walks on it ,well i know hes always behind me on the hill low markin me or flat,just my 2 plugged ya again paul

I came from a 07 REV to a XP this year and I love it. I had a stuck DPM on the first ride, but since then.....awsome. I love it. I think all the sleds are competitive and great. I think the deciding factor will be riding style. Coming off the REV to the XP the transfer was easier. Perhaps moving to another manufacturer will take a bit of learning curve, but in the end...I'd do it again in a heart beat.
I was on a 151 and went to a 163. I like the 163 better on the XP and find it easier to ride than the shorter 151 REV.
