XP turbo build part 3

12 lbs-atta boy!! Sounds great.

Found all my weak spots there, but you've got those addressed already. Said it before, but, man that is a good looking sled.

Thank you, I am super impressed with how it all turned out. 12lbs boost without a problem everything is working really well there.

Well call me crazy!!! But with all the positive response I have had with this build, I have decided to sell the machine and build another one just like it. What can I say it's in my blood!!!

So if your interested check it out in the classified ski doo section.

Thanks

Jeff

Hey Guys

Just a quick update. Got to run the sled in the mountains today. Parking lot was 1400ft, we rode up to 5500 ft played there for part of the day then rode up to 7100 ft and played there for part of the day and then ended up at about 6300ft for the rest of the day.

I did not have to make one adjustment to the machine, not once did I open a side panel, nothing, put AV gas in it last night along with oil. Started it at the parking lot rode all day, and then put it away!

Here is a short clip of it, the camera doesn't do the steepness justice.

The machine ran flawless. Also looks likes it's going to a new home in January. I will be building another one over the summer for sure!

Thanks

Hey Guys

Got out yesterday, finally got some snow here in BC. It was quite foggy so we played in the tree all day. Got some more video of the XP. Again it didn't matter what I rode this thing in it performed flawlessly. Typically in the tree's, in the deep snow on and off the throttle is where my Dragon and M8 would bog or hesitate, because that's typically when your EGT's are running cool, but this thing didn't bog or hesitate at all. Awesome day of riding! Only thing I adjusted all day was from clicker 2 to clicker 4 then back to 2 for the ride down the trail.

Anyways here the link:

Thanks, it's amazing how long it takes to edit these little video's to make them at least half professional!

Yes I didn't have to change anything, you need to be aware of your EGt's just to ensure they are happy, which is easy by just simply giving it a shot of throttle to cool them if they get to warm, but like I said from 1200-7000ft I was never in any danger of running the EGT's to warm.

I am estimating between 225-245hp

Primary is:

19 grams pin weight
Stock ramps
white/white spring
ran clicker 2 on the ride up and clicker 4 when riding,
the first day riding I just left it on 2 but found it even more responsive on 4

Thanks

Nice video
Keep em comin

Next time lets hear the turbo a little, I liked the sound of it there at the end.

I might get to go Well let just say test mine tomarrow( I mean ride it):tea:

Thanks

Unfortunately this will be the last video with this sled, the new owner sent the money for it today so it's now going to be sitting on my showroom floor until he picks it up on the 12th of January.

So now I am shopping for another machine, but probably won't build another turbo until over the summer, because it's riding season!!! But there's always next year for another turbo and I will guarentee you it will be another XP, built just the same way.

Thanks
