BJ you really need to get your facts correct....2001 was the 1st year of the 800 and it came with a solid needle.

1999 was the last year of the 670cc, 2000 was the 1st year of the 700cc , 2001 was the 1st year of the 800cc.

Late release 2000 (2000.5?) Doo had the Summit 800's, and they came with 44mm ROUND slide carbs with adjustable needles. Only a handful of these out there and they ran alot better than the '01 regular production flat slide/fized needle.

A handful of the 800's were released to dealers in late Feb. to encourage snowcheck sales....That pre-release didn't run so hot either.

actauly my 2001 800 ran pretty good if i could keep the recoil togetner

Ooops i picked up my 2001 snowcheck 800 Doo in Oct. 2000.
