XP Help

Hey guys i have a 09 XP and i got 275 miles on it. When i hit around 200 miles it started to bog down real bad and not want to go. I would go to climb a hill and my sled would max out at 6600 rpm and sound like crap. Also if i tilt my sled on its side for a second, then give it gas it wont even go. I let the dealer have it for a few days to take it to the mountain and they said that it ran great, of course. Anyone got any ideas.... Please help!

reflash the computer? i work as a tech for brp and i have no idea what your talking about.

anyway look at your carb boots. they are having problems tearing.

Right now Campaign # 2009-10 Detonation Level Detected
Unit will reveal permanent limp home situation code P-1326
Solution - Upload new calibration.
This calibration allows to reset the limp-home mode by shutting off unit, then restart instead of having to use BUDS.

So its not a toggle the mechanic can set, rather the new upload calibration.

Might be that is why he has no location in his proflie. Might be my tech or yours.
OUCH!! FOR SURE

Dpm

Mine did the same thing. It was the DPM and the dealer fixed it by taking out the plungers on the carbs and putting a little lube on them. Mine was stuck so it thought it was at sea level and ran like crap.

I think that someone needs to go back to the Polaris section.[/QU

To each his own,I've had good luck with my Polaris sleds,as for my 07 X that's a different story:mad:
Pete

ya i have done this update but that has nothing to do with a bog. if this guys sled is going into limp mode there would be engine light on and the rpms would be limited:face-icon-small-con

If you have done this update, how come you have never heard of "reflash"? Sometimes the ecm will "throw" a code and it will not show up on the dash. My sled had 3 codes shown on BUDS not one time did it show on the dash. Depending on what code the ecm throws, the timing may be retarded, some more some less. This does not necessarily limit RPM, and may cause a bog.

You must be the BRP Tech official belt washer.
