Just got off the phone with my dealer about getting my drive axle fixed. recieved my recall letter in dec. to immediatly stop using my vehicle because it could "result in serious injuriesand/or death". SO I DID. Called my dealer in dec. and recieved my #20 position on the IGNORE list. He said he hasn't seen any drive axles in over a month, so call back in a couple of months. SO I DID! He told me today he hasn't seen any axles in a month but now i have moved all the way up to #18. Don't get me wrong i like my dealer will buy from him again,in fact i feel sorry for him. good thing i got the two year warrenty, geetin my moneys worth while mysled collects dust in my garage. I wanted to sell my sled but i dont know if itis even legal to do so. Im sure it'll be worth as much next year when its a year older (and maybe fixed). Seems like they should buy my broken p.o.s. no parts available/could cause serious injury and/or death vehicle back from me. (class action lawsuit?) At VERY LEAST OFFER US AN EXTRA YEAR WARRENTY. Would like you guys opinion on this. P.S. anybody know a really good lawyer, pm me. AVI8ter.

That is B.S. You need to contact Doo directly and they should help you out. You should have had this done a long time ago so something is not adding up with your dealer.

I'm sorry to hear that you have not got that fixed yet. I have drive shafts here in stock, and can fix that in one day. If you have any other issues we can do most of them one day turn around also. I know your about an hour away, I can also have the drive shaft changed in about 2 1/2 hours while you wait if you schedule it with me ahead of time. If you would like it done tommorrow give me a call.

That's ridiculous! Your Ski-Doo dealership should be putting the heat on Ski-Doo to ship them a driveshaft asap.

we had 3 done and no problems gettin them--didnt doo the last 2 till 3 weeks ago and they were not even bought from our dealer but he did them for us without question--great dealer--we rode them till they were done too

Ski-doo sent me another 6 axles today that I never even ordered, sending them back tomorrow but still have 2 in stock if anyone up here in Canada needs one
I rode mine anyways. But, just last week, Hinsons in McCall Idaho got some in. They did mine while I waited.
I doubt ski-doo would want to go in front of a judge, and explain how they were able to outfit unsold new 09's with axles, before they took care of the previous customers. I also doubt that their stupid letter releases them from any liability, if you made an honest effort to get it fixed, and couldn't because they had no parts. A lot of dealers had left over 08's and some new 09's that needed axles before they could sell them. So, most of them used their axle allotment to fix their new sleds, so they could sell them, before taking care of customers.
Ski-Doo put the dealers in a tough spot. I guess I can't blame them. But, Doo should have done better than that.

hopefully the other 17 guys in front of me read this post 'cause now i kinda feel like a winer, but enough is enough. calling remko tomorrow. p.s. my sleds an 08.
Call I-90 motorsports an see if they'll take care of it for you. Did mine as soon as the snow started falling in late november.

Glad to see that I-90 has stepped up for you. Mine was fixed in early November and now has 600 miles on it.
The XP is at I-90 motorsports.Called Remko this morning and he got me right in. Tom in service said no problem getting it done and any other updates as well. Nice people, awsome service, I highly reccomend I-90 for your needs. Avi8ter.
