XM recoil start

Looking to put a recoil back on my xm e-start. will a recoil from an 11 or 12 etec work?

Yeah it is the same part. I put the kit in my xm and it was a nice fit. The plastic holster for the pull handle takes a bit of coaxing to get it to snap into place in the oil reservoir. The whole pull start assembly fits behind the side panel so there is no need to cut out the panel.
