Has anyone gone in from the Pindale side. Snow looks good, from snotels. Going in early January was up there last Febuary, love the area............

great snow
Been in from the Pinedale side twice this year, snow was AWESOME both times. First time was Nov 20th, not a lot of snow on the bottom trail ride, but when we got to test hill there was plenty. Only made it up to where the trail splits to go to gun sight pass, or the warming hut because it was snowing and visibility was limited. We just played in the trees around there for a few hours and headed back. The next time was Nov. 26th it was blue bird, and very warm. The snow in some spots didnt have a base, and some places were very wind blown. We still found great snow all day. Looks like they got another 10in since I rode last. You should be fine if you come in Jan. Hope this helps, i would post some pictures, but we were too busy riding to take pictures both days

Thanks for the update. I'll be checking up til we leave but from the looks of the snotels they have been getting snow almost every day. The web cam at Triple Peak shows the mountains socked in every day. fell in love with that place last year. Nothing like Wyoming powder clear, rolling hills and no people.
Triple peaks wasn't even going to open until the end of January because of the late snow year last year. We got them to open for us the first week of January..................

We'll be riding the 7, 8 and 9th of January if your around. Were meeting another couple, both very good riders. We will be riding out of Triple Peak Ranch. Might have one of the guides from Togowotte riding with us. We met him last year up there, he rides down there quite a bit also.

Cool keep them coming try to make it up ther once a year at least usually around Feb. looks alot better now than it looked last Feb. hope it keeps this up!
