I think Slim came up with that one a few years ago.
Can't remember if he took that shot or not.

That picture is from the Hanford nuclear site. Protected. Temperatures can reach 117 during the summer. It was taken along the Columbia river by a site water sampler checking pond water, there are elk in this pond occasionlly, but he we stunned by this one, it was a very hot day. The picture started circulating when I was working up there around 4 years ago. On the drive into work, you could drive right next to these big boys, i have many personal pictures of the bulls, I'll post a few.

Whats the mineral content of those ponds???
My guess was that this is one of those mineral ponds that deer/elk and others like to visit. This has been used to explain some of the monsterous racks and pallated horns to come out of areas like this?? They have tested some of the animals and noticed off the chart mineral content in the animal.
Just my 2 pennies! Cool pic

Having picture issues, they are bitmap, anyone help with converting to jpeg? When I edit they are so small to fit the forums requirements, they are tiny??
