Well my Black Friday purchase consisted of a new WRP low profile seat. They had them for 296.00 which included shipping, normal price is 329.00 which includes shipping.
The seat itself is 2" lower then the stock seat and that was confirmed with measurements. The WRP seat is 3" longer but with it being lower, I don't believe you will even notice this extra length.
Width wise the stock seat is about 9.5" wide at it's widest point and about 5" at the narrowest point.
Width on the WRP seat varies as well but stays pretty narrow throughout. Up by the tank is about 4.5" wide. Mid way is about 5.5" and at the back it's about 6" wide.
Weight wise, the stock seat is 5.1 and the WRP is 4.1, so weight savings of 1 pound.
Another nice feature with this seat is that it will fit the Axys as well!! So, at the end of this season when this sled goes down the road, I can pull this seat off and put it on an Axys next year!!
Looks wise, it actually looks pretty good too. I like the profile as it flows with the sled a little better compared to the stock. Obviously, this is just a bonus!!
All in all, I think its going to be a nice addition as after the install I stood on the sled and you can tell it's lower. I think it will be nice for transitioning, especially when a guy gets a little gassed.
