WRP gauge lifter/vent .. good? bad?

Has anyone had any experience using these WRP gauge lifers? (or another brand) good? bad? It seems like a good idea to point the gauge up for better viewing while standing, and opening a vent at the top of the engine as well.

heres another brand of gauge bracket...being nice and low it should address any concerns of the gauge being protected from tree branches and roll over damage....good price as well!

Have yet to ride a PRO for any length of time, but doing some garage racing on it I'm definitely thinking be tough to see gauge when standing while riding...
Definitely considering this mod, evacuates a lot of hot under-hood air?

Assuming the gauge pod is waterproof being completely exposed to the elements like it is? Going with a pair of 2.5" round SLP push in vents on the intake as opposed to the actual intake vent assembly SLP is selling, should give close to same fresh air intake but with a much lower profile..??

Just installed mine today. Looks good and now you can actually glance down and check the gauge with no issues. As far as the height, it actually is lower then it looks in most pics. It's really not much higher then the short windshield. I should have taken a good side and front shot to show. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get one.

I just put one of these on my sled yesterday and I'm glad I did it. I like having a handle bar bag and the lifter let's me see the gage both standing and sitting.

It's often said that an unhappy customer will tell 10 people about their experience and a happy customer will only tell 1 other person (okay i may have the actual numbers wrong, but you get the idea). I'm the kind of person who really appreciates good customer service. I want to let you folks here know I had a very good experience with Madsigntist. I placed my order for his gauge lifter this past Monday. He sent me an email telling me it had shipped and I should get it soon (with out me having to ask!!). It showed up today... Thursday. It looks like a good product. I will let you know how the install goes.

I think customers should take the time to acknowledge good service, just the same as they like to bitch when things don’t go well. Thanks Matt!

I agree. I have put two on his cages on M8s in the past and just installed one on my Pro today. Definitely pm him if you are thinking of picking one up! Snowest pricing.

Bring this one back to life,a great product for your Pro RMK.I've got one on my 11 and just bought another for the wife's new 13 Pro.Send Madsigntist a P/M for a snowest special discount.

I love my WRP gauge, survived pine tree branches and some rollovers for 2 season's. It defrosts my goggles, that's how much hot air I've had come out of the lifter vent area. I bought mine through sled solutions.

I made my own, does the commercial gauge lifter come with some kind of tape to wrap the plug in the back of the gauge to keep moisture out.
