WOW it's been a while

So i decided i'd bring everyone up to speed. I haven't been on here in maybe a year so there are some things that are new. I got married on October 25, 2008 to a pro BMX rider. Funny how things happen. Then we decided we wanted to start a family soon since Preston turns 2 next week. Well we just found out that we're due at the end of July, so we got ourselves a honeymoon baby! I had surgery on my knee back in May, and things aren't going so well. Found out that my leg is all crazy alligned and now i'm going to physical therapy at Kim's Performance West. So far no riding yet this season and it's really starting to take its toll. Well that's news from my world.

I dont know you either but im sorry about your leg and thats awesome your gettin a honeymoon baby. and welcome back i just got back on four days ago

.....And you are?

Nice to have you back "Chick". Missed reading your posts and perspective. Congrats on the whole getting married, having a baby thing. Hope your rehab on your knee works out. Body pain sucks.

WTF is you problem Ice?? For god sake she has 10 posts!! :D

Oh, she has a few more hundred/thousands than that...

Welcome back. Congrats on the marriage and baby!!!!!!!! to bad you're not riding. I'm picturing dropping cornices while 7 months prego!!!

Well my husband mostly rides park for now, but hopefully his shoulder has healed enough for him to pound out the massive dirt jumps at dew tour this year. He use to be striclty a street rider but he's definitely well rounded in all areas.

Oh and Dogmeat i'm Sledjunky's daughter obviously you haven't been here long enough to know me, i'm nothing special, but i like to think of a lot of the people on SnoWest my family.

As for the whole 10 posts thing i wanted to change my name and in order to change it when they changed over to this new thread set up i couldn't carry over my post history, but yeah a few thousand sounds about right.

Dang i wish i was hitting the powder at 7 months, with my first one i was, but there have been a few scares with this pregnancy already so i'm not willing to risk anything.

:rolleyes: That did it. I was trying to remember but I do for sure now. Miss your old man giving out good advice on the forums back in the day. He quit when he got hounded after giving a sled away in a raffle and someone close to whom built it, won it. I can only remember bits and pieces, been a loooong time. Congrats on all of the above:beer;

Is it the same SledJunky, lived down in Utah? Came up to the forum ride in McCall, and turned his truck and trailer over on the road up to Brundage? Rode a Cat 900, or 1M. That guy could flat ride. He was the first guy I ever meet that could do anything on a sled. No fear at all.

I remember you though. Wasn't there some blowup about tee shirts, and trademark, or something? Wasn't anything I really paid attention too. Lots' of old timers have just never come back. It's funny when they do, it's not the same on here. Always changing people.

Has your handle always been sledchick21?
I seem to remember sledchick.

Anyway, welcome back and congrats on the marriage.

Yep. He was up here like 10 years ago. I think back then, he was plowing roads, and sledding. Just getting into wrenching, and building parts for sleds. Seems he started out with drop brackets.
