What do you guys think about Ron Paul's Foreign Policy? I like him but his FP is straight dangerous.

I was in the Marines for 6 years 2004-2011 and In Israel in 2006 and Iraq in 2008. Our current foreign policy is a waste of money, lives and causes trouble. I saw no real National Security gains of ANY kind while I was in the military.

It's actually the opposite. Keeping troops all over the world is NOT practical. It widens our vulnerability on American Soil, puts our troops in Direct Harm on non-U.S. soils and bankrupts us. We are now witnessing the longest running war in American history. Sustained war attacks our civil liberties at home because the government uses the war as a tactic to control and bring on the police state. Prolonged war always leads to loss of civil liberties.

I have a close friend who work intelligence for the Air Force and has done so for 10 years, he thinks otherwise.
