WOW......431lbs... 2011 pro RMK

Call me crazy, but why is this so great? Doesnt anybody else see the resemblence? Looks pretty much like a Ski doo XP to me, right down to the frame.

Do you really think the production weight is going to be 431? Add 10-15#, still light, but not as advertised.

As stated before, they need to work on reliability of their engines from what I've read and seen. JMO.

One thing about Polaris. You hit a rock or stump with the A-arm the A-arm will break or bend with no damage to the chassis. You go out and spend $100 on the new A-Arm and your good to go. With a Ski-doo the a-arm may break or or bend but your chassis (bulkhead) is shot in the process. Flimsy.

And you know from experiance because you have hit how many rocks and stumps with this new 2011 RMK?

431#, thats a homerun number.

Chassis looks great, but who knows until you ride it.

Is it a new motor or the same boat anchor that they put in the 08-10? Whats the hp? Do you trust a 1st year new motor? Would you buy a continuation of the 08-10 motor?

I really like the looks of it, and I'm getting tired of the same old M-chassis (though I love it, but it's 5-6 seasons).

Deja vu anyone? Atleast they didn't change the motor...

It so closely resembles the doo, imo, that I might accidently try and put doo parts on it if I broke it.

But seriously, I've got high hopes for this sled, and if R&D did their job, this sled will dominate.

I love the sled but in my opinion they should have an option for the 700 i think it is a machine that is very sellable and reliable. If they let this thing come out with only a 800 that likes to eat pistons it will be bad news...

Again though I love this thing and would for surely buy one!!!!!

Yup. I'll start a ride report when I get home. :)

I have a smile on my face. Can't ya see it?
