How many years back was that??

Last year.
This was some of the loss with sub-forums and what irritated some of the members. The comradely on the forum was in General Snowmobile and Fouled Plug. But after the conversion, it moved to the state areas.

Some like to say posting is way down, but most of what went into the general snowmobile and Foul Plug areas is now in the state specific areas, it's there, just in other areas.

I would be willing to find the good clutching threads and compile the information. I think if nothing there could be a clutching area/sub-forum that will have the information. There could even be a Sticky for each major brand in there, with links about clutching. Almost like an index:

Of course I think at least a thread discussing what works, what doesn't and how clutching in General can be improved. How to properly break-in a belt, how to clean your clutches, places that sell tools, etc etc

I see a place where if you want to get a better clutch setup you can go here and READ, and educate yourself from other people's experiences. Yes, this info is available in the brand areas as well as General and Performance (even in Mountain). It would just be nice to find it in one area, even if it was a sticky thread to begin with and then you followed it to the orginal area. Once the forum is built it will grow and people will start using it (good moderation can move threads to this area).

It appears that unless there is a big voter turn out today, the vote will be the "YES's".

the vote though is not strong enough to be worthwhile to further the idea imo...not that its not in the majority..just that i don;t think anyone will lose sleep over it if nothing changes and just that its not worth the work and hassle ...

Ok I voted...yes.

I guess that although I cannot see where this will go for sure, I hope a clutching forum will eventually fill up with..well...clutching threads.

So, bring it on and hope that people notice soon. People will ask that the good threads posted elsewhere be moved to the clutching forum (I think).
