I know its been covered, sorry fella's. Simply put, does anyone know of a true fix for this? It plagued me all last season and not one dealer I talked to has a clue.

I've read about adding clutch weight, TPS, injectors, fuel filter, ECU, etc.

My bet is too light of weights. Ignition cuts out at 8500 motor will hit that before you see it on the MFD.

Yes.. Setup is KEY... Plain and Simple!!!

Also.. If your having Major issues.. Double Check the TPS.. Settings..

-Most Found if you took if the slack out of the stretched cable.. BingO ;) This happens around 300-600 miles.. Depends.. How Hard you ride.. Takes a few seconds even in the Bush.. Right next to the Handle bars.. the adjustment is there.. May need a 8 mm Wrench. X2.

My thoughts are still leaning towards Setup! Clutch Weights.. Springs ... Look on chart.!

Also For any 2012 Owner... Of a NEW SLED... Please ReAd The Manual!! 4 Times! Lots of good info in there!!!

I agree completely. Had the same issue till I clutched my sled. It was hitting the rev limiter way faster than the display could read. Get your clutch dialed in for where you ride and it will disappear.

X2 on the tps cable too. Mine streched a bit twards the end of the season last year. Easy adjustment and makes a big difference.

That is MUSIC to my ears. Glad to hear I can take care of it myself. I ride 1000-3000, what clutching do you guys reccomend. Not really looking for a kit, but weights/spring, etc?

I ride at that elevation and run stock Polaris 10-68 weights with black green spring with no problem. When I went to 10-66 I hit the rev limit.

Sorry. Asked if he's close to Tromsoe. Told him my setup and where I got it, how a higher than 40 finishing angle seems to be to much.

Do what Rick! tells you to do, regardless of what all the other threads say. We saw this last year in Cooke and he pushed a couple of buttons on the multi display and said, "You're hitting the rev limiter". I would have bet money we weren't hitting the rev limiter because you could not see it on the tach, but the record/playback showed it. More weight and golden.

I run 10-68 for 1000 feet, if your running the factory supplied weights at that elev. you are over reving. Injectors fixed my sled.

Haha, so is it weights or injectors? Obviously I need to switch out my weights

Being the idiot I am I ASSUMED the dealer would set the sled up correctly for my area, never checked! Are they responsilbe for supplying the correct weights for your area? I called my dealer today and gave em some $hit, see if they will send me some 10-68's. We'll see

BTW, anyone got a set of 10-68's laying around for sale?

FYI on the injector trouble for me it presented as a stumble at throttle tip around 4500 RPM almost like a bad plug.

I ride 1500ft and as said the 68g Polaris weights are what you need! At 1300 miles it ate the reed pedal's and Polaris replaced them along with injector's. When it ate the reed's it ran like it had a fouled plug from a very low ruff iidle to half throttle, past half throttle it ran great (reeds open) I rode it a very hard 120 miles home without killing it.

If you install vforce3 reeds make sure you get the new revised petals for the 800cfi, my dealer installed force reeds to get me riding because the replacement petals were 10 days out and it ate new (but old style petal) vforce 3's in just 50 miles while waiting for stock reeds to ship WTF! Another 700 miles later with stock reeds and no problems!
