Working in Canada??????

The company I work for has bid and got paving work in Canada. My ? is how does the U.S. company pay its employees taxes and S.S. , unemployment and so forth. I have asked the company this and they tell me they are looking into these things....just would like some input from some that have worked up north but live in the U.S. Thanks Dino

What....How does that work?Isn't there immigration work issues?I know I could just go down to the U.S. and do a paving job down there without reprocusions from U.S.Immigrations.

I was told that we would be a sub-contractor to a Canadian company. Some of us have filled out paper work so that the Canadians could look into our criminal records and get us work visas. ??? Dino

Better start paving real quick becouse in acouple of days paving season is going to be over for about 6 months.

Ive got two weeks of paving in Helmville then I am off for the winter..WOO HOO..Already starting on the sled projects. Dino
