Wolves!

Wolves out riding?

We didnt get to see em but came across three very fresh tracks in the snow on friday the thirteenth. Snow was too good to follow and see em or something.;)

eating well...

We see them ocasionaly,always see tracks.Some of them are eating well because they look like house pets they are so rounded out!!!:beer;

around these parts some of them are well rounded because they are EATING house pets. I feel sorry for those who have found that thier dog became an hors de overes for the wolves...

from the Idaho section....doesn't look like they are too afraid of man to me.....eating next to a highway and a set of RR tracks.

Its only about 2 miles from where me and my family ride....My wife and I now keep pistols in our windshield bags. It amazes me that we still have people saying how bad it is that we want them gone.....Not only do I want them gone, I never wanted them here in the first place.:face-icon-small-dis

excellent website!

More joe-public people need to see this website. Definately an eye-opener and goes to show you how mis-managed they are. U.S.F.W.S. recently took out a pack in "Hog-Heaven" area near Browns Meadow near Kila,MT that was killing cattle in the area. There was only supposed to be 8-10 wolves in the pack by gov't count, they ended up killing close to 20 or more. Government doesn't even know how many out there.

A co-worker that lives a couple miles from my house here in Smith Valley said the other day two of her neighbors have had wolves on their property. I'm only about 6 miles from the edge of town. A couple of ridges and those wolves near her would be in West Valley and the farm floor northwest of town!

We've seen a few. Heard a lot while stopped and have seen tons of tracks. Here's a few pics from a ride last year. 10 mile stretch of trail, close to civilization and there were 13 kills (elk and deer) that you could see from the road.

I always carry a gun while riding

This one they ate absolutely nothing. I flipped it over and you could see where they took it down but never touched it after that

while riding monday i came around a corner and there was blood and wolf tracks all over! so we stoped and started looking for whatever they killed and just barley over the bank was a deer still alive with its guts hanging out of it, once we got closer, it took off stumbeling down the hill whith its guts hanging out of it! and we were pretty sure that we scared the wolfs off with the sound but we werent' sure so we just left and when we came back there were tracks ontop of out tracks from earlier that day! stupid wolves!

Get a hunting license, take a rifle along w/you, and go track and shoot them. ;)

its sad..i hate to say it but i just cannot understand any significance or reason that the wolve species is important,i think natures food chain would be just fine without everyone of them...its sad to think this way, possibly sadder i believe it,but i think that their extinction would not upset anything...sorry if i offend anyone..

Makes me very bitter. It's hard for me to believe that some people want these animals around. Ignorant fools.:mad:

Wolf

We have seen them right outside Cle Elum WA. They can run 45 mph and are pretty good size!
