I have been lurking reading all this crap you post, and that is exactly what it is. If you need people to ride with just come out and ask if anyone wants to go riding on such and such day. We are all noobs at one point, and we all get stuck, the better you get the worse areas you get stuck in. Simple as that.
I don't see a point to organize all these big activities? I like to go out and ride and go exploring. I can see if you had a family reunion to do some of it but it would just turn into a big noisy show and the skiers would have even more to feed on then.
I'm just happy to go out and ride as much as I can and it doesn't really matter who it is. Sometimes it is a novice group, but that is fine, I can ride plenty hard whoever I am with and it is still awesome to be out riding with good people having fun.
And I think the Uintas are very quiet, even on a Saturday after a big snow storm, Sure the parking longs and about a 5 mile radius is kind of a zoo, but after that I can ride all day and not see anyone else. Just have to know where to go. Ask sledhead and GP about that.
