Winter driving directions from Cooke to Sheridan

Does High Country have rooms? Would have to park then ride there but might be better than driving back and forth.

We changed our plans and are staying at Cooke the whole trip. I didn't know they get that booked up at the Bighorns. Good for them, but bad for a snow chaser like myself... Thanks for all the good info! later

It's actually awesome snow wise right now. BUT, I've been going to Cooke on and off for twelve years now and I have to admit that I'm scared sh!tless to go this time, because of the avalanche conditions, especially after where yesterday's slide took place.. Unbelievable really! We will be mostly just practicing on our trail riding techniques and drinking abilities on this trip... LOL
