Right now I am making a slide show for the state association of our state ride.
My only question is how do you make the picture stay up longer before transitioning?

drag the timeline out to the right.. get your cursor on the end of the clip, click to grab it and pull it to the right.. or rt click on clip/properties and adjust time should be in there i believe.. been ahwile since messing with movie maker.. dragging it out works best

Ditto. Drag it as long as you want it to be viewed...you can overlap them too to blend them. We did a wicked slideshow of a season's riding. Used the motion type effect too, which gives motion to the pic so it's not just still...can't remember the exact name of the effect. Haven't used this program in a bit. But it's a great one for still slideshows.
