Man you guys are terrible fans. Its not over. You seem to forget what happened a few years ago.
In '03 we had goaltending and a game 6 home game which made a big difference (I was there
). Now we have two traffic cone defensemem and a goalie who I could score on.I'll either be here or at the bar.

Hey Man, those guys skated their hearts out last night. You could tell on every one of their faces before face-offs and breaks that they had a singular purpose. My seats are in the third row - you can see it all from where I'm sitting.
I agree with most of what you said about the deadline and how things might have been different with a regular stud center to play between the Slovak's. At the end of the day we are skating up hill missing two regular blue liners in Foster and Schulz. Heck, you can go back to October and Wes Walz baling on the team as well. Take the minutes and give-aways from Skoula (although I thought he played well last night) and add back in the Foster shot on the PP and you add another dimension to the team.
This is going to take Gaborik showing up to one of the games and Backstrom to match the play on the other side.
Bottom line, even though the good guys didn't win last night, I'll take that game for my entertainment dollar every time. If they play the same way on Saturday I'm going to need to find a babysitter for Monday's game back here!

Believe me, I'm far from jumping off of the bandwagon but I took my blind fold off after last season and am done blinding accepting everything that the team does. Had they picked up Campbell at the deadline, or Richards, or Jokinen, etc. this series would probably be over, but Simon? Come on, give me a break. Yeah they got beat up last year in the playoffs but thats what Boogaard and Fedoruk are for. Now we're trying to pound the Avs into the ground while they take it and score 3 goals on 17 shots anyways.
Time to blow it up and make some big name trades. Gabby, its been great but you're just not the superstar that the blind fans make you out to be. Build the team around Koivu and Burns.

Keep the plans with the babysitter, but don't worry about seeing game 7. There just isn't going to be one!
