Why is Mitt Romney Mad at Me?
January 15, 2008 at 10:50 pm

Has anyone else noticed that Mitt Romney is mean? All the debates and interviews I see him in leave me with the uneasy feeling that he’s someday going to go off and backhand somebody.

Now I don’t really have any feelings about him as a candidate, I’m not voting for him but I’m not going to say I hate him either (like I hate McCain, Guiliani, and Huckabee), and I still listen to what he has to say. Whenever he talks though, he takes on the tone of someone who is about to fly off the handle! Whenever he starts to answer a question I cower like a dog who gets hit a lot, just waiting for his anger to escalate into a full blown slap.

I don’t know if anyone caught Nightline last night, but it was the same thing. He was mean! The interviewer would ask him a question and almost every time he would either angrily say he wasn’t going to answer her question, or defensively provide and explanation to various issues and/or accomplishments. Good for you for lowering insurance costs in Massachussetts Mitt-Man, I would cut my fees too if I had you encouraging me to do so through clenched teeth! Relax man, we don’t hate you- we’re just asking you questions! I’m sorry!

But I just think that his tone is probably really bad for his campaign, if I was supporting him and then saw him up there white-knuckling his podium during debates and saw his eyes turning black as he ground his teeth while being interviewed I would perhaps look into some other candidates. I don’t want a President who is going to get mad at me for asking him a question, eventually turning his head around 360 degrees!

Mitt- if you’re reading this (oh and I’m sure you are) just calm down and work on your tone. What are you so angry about!?

Who cares sldgy.. you aren't voting Republican anyway and neither is the Nightline driveby BSers.

I'm sure Romney needs your advice.

If your talking about the dip $hit that kept asking the same ques. (Is your campaign manager a lobbyist) Id been pissed too.

I've voted Republican in every Presidential election for almost 40 years except for the last two. Get YOUR facts straight before you run your mouth asswipe!

Aut-Oh, sldgy's about ready to backhand someone. Them's fight'n words.

Looks like the reporter managed to slap down the top four Republican Representatives in one article, without actually presenting anything tangible. Good work.

Looks like he got the facts right--You just said so yourself---You just admited you vote Democrap!!!

I think you have a hardon for Romney---Are you aroused by him or just think he is cute:eek::confused:

H20SKE...

Who's the author of that piece? It's obviously not a professional journalist because there's absolutely no objectivity in it whatsoever. The guy admits he "hates" basically every Republican candidate, how can you take someone who says something like that seriously?

Come on, sldgy, you can do a lot better than that!

This was never meant to be something to be taken seriously.
It was just an observation (that has been made by more than one individual).
You folks need to lighten up a bit.

I thought you were a lib since you result to name calling in your arguments when you run out of words. (Of course quoting Abbey Hoffman doesn't help your conservative image, and you did vote Demo last 8 years)

Like I tell my grandkids when they get frustrated.... use your big boy words.

So fess up... are you voting Republican in THIS election?

(don't forget... use your Big boy words)

YES

..If anybody thinks for just even a minute that romney won't cram his religion down the craws of all of us if he gets elected is high..

And what is wrong with religion? I am not Morman but do not think that he will cram his relgion down our throats if he is elected. He has not even won the Republican nomination yet. And no I do not necesarily support him, I am undecided at this point. But I do know one thing, any Republican is better than what the Democrats are putting out there.

A moral concience with a religion based backbone would be refreshing.

Maybe (and I know how crazy this may sound) we could let the children pray again!?!?

"one nation, under God"

I just don't underfugging get why you losers are so against religion?

NOTHING.. & I stress nothing ..against religion at all.. Prayer & allegiance & all that stuff needs to be ressurrected big time.
