Why are you brand loyal? (Pickup trucks)

GM! Better looking, last longer, run better, ride better, work harder, and chicks dig them!

Cummins

I am loyal to the Cummins motor. What its wrapped in I really don't care.
Unfortunately its been wrapped in a Dodge in the light truck market so that's what I have purchased.

Grew up in a HUGE Chevy fan family. Never own anything but, type of family. I eventually ended up buying a Tundra, and am still amazed at how much more quality built it is. The rest of the family continued buying Chevy. Nothing but problems with them. Nothing major, but a lot of little things, constantly! Cheap built junk interiors, rattles, noises, broken switches, sensors failing, with no end all cures. And, Toyotas keep their value at a MUCH better rate, much better!

Whole family owns Toyota now.

Now, I'm looking into a diesel... Toyota has no option, and won't anytime soon. Really wish I could get the duramax/Alison in a Ford F250.... I'm a neanderthal, and the extra room in the '08+ Fords has me sold alone, while all the 6.4/6.7 has me concerned for buying one. The Chevy interior quality is still very non appealing, and I'm also very against how the gov't has handled GM's bailout as well.

If it's gas, it's only Toyota for me! Diesel, to be determined...

I'm not brand loyal, or at least I like to think I'm not.

I currently have a 2011 F150 Ecoboost, which is my first ford and I've been very happy with it.

I've had:
2003 Cummins
2001 Cummins
2004 GMC 5.3
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee
1992 Chevy S10 Blazer
1998 Mazda Protégé

I really prefer domestic vehicles, but other then that no preference.

Love the Cummins motor, although I personally think the Duramax is best mix of power and reliability at this point. Cummins may be more reliable and cheaper and easier to fix though.

I think Ram has the nicest interior at this point, and the new GM is right behind it.

I think Ram is by far the most improved brand over the last 15 year.

I think I will get another Cummins truck in the near future but will test drive all of them to compare.
