He put on a

TENNIS SHOES (MADE IN KOREA)

After cooking his breakfast in his new

ELECTRIC SKILLET (MADE IN INDIA)

he sat down with his

CALCULATOR (MADE IN MEXICO)

to see how much he could spend today. After setting his

WATCH (MADE IN TAIWAN)

to the

RADIO (MADE IN INDIA)

he got in his

CAR (MADE IN GERMANY)

filled it with

GAS (from Saudi Arabia)

and continued his search

for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his

COMPUTER (MADE IN MALAYSIA),

John decided to relax for a while.

He put on his

SANDALS (MADE IN BRAZIL),

poured himself a glass of

WINE (MADE IN FRANCE)

and turned on his

TV (MADE IN INDONESIA),

and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in America and now he's hoping he can get help from a

PRESIDENT MADE IN KENYA

How many of you cross the West Seattle Bridge and watch the container ships unloading? They all say Hun Chin, Chin Hung or something like that I always thought we would be better off if we quit buying all that ****.

There is a bright side to all the outragious spending being done in washington.
Inflation is coming.
When it hits (and mark my words, it IS coming) it will rapidly become cheaper to produce stuff in the US again. At that point, you will see an upserge in low to mid skill labor jobs.
That would be the jobs Clinton and Bush outsourced.

I work for the Railroad in Seattle. Container business is WAY down, around 50%. While this hurts me personally, I welcome the change. As a company we are down about 20%. I buy American whenever I can. If everybody did this we could make the change permanent.
