Who's got the maddest boondocking skills

i know a guide who rides a stock chassis turbo nytro and i'll put my money on him when it comes to boondocking, he proved me wrong so many times when i seen a spot where a sled can;t fit and he rode though it with grace. the guy used to ride stock rev 600 and he out performed 800s on a regular basis i'm sure that there are a few avg joe riders who will give any of these filmed riders a run for their money any day of the week. wether it be 4 or 2 stroke.

My vote goes to Grady from Sanford and Son on a RX-1 longtrack.

That video is a joke as far as any mad skills. There was absolutely no boondocking in that teaser. I must have watched the wrong video or someone forgot what the title of the thread was. Awesome powder riding was all I seen.

handfullthrottle, you think spinning a donut in the meadow is hardcore boondocking? just accept the fact that your heavy tank is only good with a turbo. i'm not trying to tell you that 2strokes out climb 4strokes because everyone knows that is not true.

ummm have you guys watched what burandt does in the trees? because ive never seen anyone do what he can do

Well like me pap always told me, watch your mouth cause there is ALWAYS somebody tougher. I think the same goes for talented riders. Could one be riding a 4 stroke? Very possible. Brandt quote" your only at the top for so long." Why? Because there is ALWAYS somebody better. Just have to be at the right place, at the right time.

Exactly!! I had the chance to ride with him last year. It is amazing the places he can sqeeze a sled!

I once squeezed my sled under the tunnel....and the spindle and the tank and the bumper. But then I felt dirty so I stopped squeezing my sled.

But surely if Chris is an amazing sled squeezer I may have to come out of retirement and show everyone the places I can sqeeze my sled.:cheer2:

I'd have to agree, there are so many great riders/boondockers that never will get on film, I know this guy, you know that guy etc...but some of the things I have watched Burandt do on film are incredible. Siding hilling straight up/down through very thick trees. Video's never do justice when it comes to the steepness of slopes, so I can only imagine how good some of his moves really are.

Or as has been mentioned else where...is the camera not straight?

Or how many blooper reels are made first?

LOL, wow you need to get around more.

get around? i have not seen a 4 stroke sled ride the trees like Burandt or Rasmussen do with theirs. if there are people that can ride a huge sled like that i would like to see it but im not going to hold my breath. Every time the four stroke lovers say "watch the mad skills in this vid" all i see is a bunch of pow turns in a meadow or chute climbs. im not saying that those dont require skills but thats not what this post was about. BOONDOCKING is not either of those, rather it is both of those with everything else thrown in for good measure. Show me some hardcore technical riding on an Apex or Nytro, i want to see it!

The "ultimate skidoo" 1000 4 banger sure does some good powder moves.... i think you can check out the latest thunder struck video's. Not quite chris's style, but then again, chris isn't doing the riding.

IMO, you throw any elite rider on a v-maxx, and they are going to kick 70% of the joe shmo's off the hill.

I would have to give this award to Chris Burandt, he may not have invented all the techniques he employs but he certainly applies them in the most ridiculous capacity imaginable. I'm very greatful for everything he's shown me, its certainly helped my riding a lot. I would definitely recommend signing up for one of his adventures, its a real eye opener.
