Who's Got a Sled For My Wife?

Yes I've been to the "Swap Meet" section and browsed around there but I'll bet there are a few of you on here who are thinking about unloading a sled but think this is the wrong time of year to do it, so you're not advertising.
I'm looking for a sled for my wife to upgrade her from her 2000 Mountain Max. I'll consider any brand except Yamaha. Something in the 600 to 700 cc range and 2005/6 and newer. We mountain ride pretty conservatively. Mostly trails and meadow powder. Trying to stay around $3000 to $4000 range, maybe a little more for the right ride, with exchange and RIV fee. No mods. No issues. No abused "on its last legs" crap! Good to excellent condition. Let me know what you have. Oh Yeah, I should add that I live in western BC Canada and don't want to have to travel any more than 6 to 8 or have someone meet me at the border. Price of fuel to go very far would make a "good deal" a "not so good deal" anymore.
Cheers.:beer;

I have a 2006 M7 efi 162" black only 1300 miles, $3995. It was a trade in at the auto dealership I work at and my boss (the owner) is not very excited about keeping it all summer.

Google up all of the sled rental business' within your specified parameters and start making phone calls. The best used sled buys traditionally come from the strapped and down trodden closely followed by rentals! Some have started to hold 2 year groups and that might bring one into your range. A high time or mileage 600cc RMK 08-09 would be ideal and they will go a long long long ways if the rental shop was conscientous in their lube and use service.

Thanks F-Bomb.
I've talked to a couple of rentals who are clearing their fleets and you're dead on that they have some great deals, but so far haven't found one close enough to my location to make pick up or delivery affordable. Good idea about Googling the rentals! I'm gonna try that .

I've got a 2008 Crossfire 800 that my wife has been riding. It's got a 2" Challenger on it..and is 144". Love the additional track lug length and shorter than traditional mountain sleds so she can maneuver and manipulate sled easier. It has no mods, no wrecks....awesome shape.

Great sled!! I'm very particular! ;-)
