IMO, a mx vs atv game converted/massaged into a snowmobiling game would sell to a large group of people(snowmobilers) too..
i hope it happens.... with how good graphics are getting, it should be pretty awesome

i just shot a e-mail to THQ asking what it would take to get something like this going. Ill let you guys know what they say. In the meantime lets keep this going and show them it might be worth taking a look into.

Anyone remember that Ski-Doo Team Racing game that was for PC??????
i think it was made by Atari (sp) .. That game is fun for awhile but, all you can do is race, and jump ...and all the sleds are all MXZ's (01 ZXs).

Definately would buy this for 360. Endless possibilities for online and the xbox live. Bring in the big names from the sport. Make new sleds and featured products available from the live downloads. And even if not being able to go "everywhere" make a small mountain range or a few select famous climbing mountains to play on. Base the chances of getting stuck on rider ability points you earn through peer pressure challenges(boondock challenges like slalom courses in the trees, climbing certain shoots, doing gaps with tricks for cameras, etc.) and also races. Earn sponsors from both sled companies and aftermarket parts/apparel companies. Possibilites are endless.
Would like to see, tuning options on the sleds, older gen sleds to start on cause nobody starts life riding on the new and fastest sleds, and also physics that match a heavier toy, I would be mad if I was ready to hillcimb a 155" and it turns on a dime and handles like a dirt bike.

I would love a snowmobile game where you can freeride, move around on the sled, side hill, get stuck, climb some chute, anything and everything fun.
I have a PSP and I own atv off road fury 4. The snowmobiles handle just like the quads.... No fun there

I bet they could use the topo data from Google Earth and generate play areas based on actual places. Ride Revy before you go for real (minus the socked in conditions )!
Just for fun maybe add some ski hills with a point system... jk
Take it a step further and get the aftermarket co's to throw in ad dollars so when a player accumulates enough cash they can choose an upgrade like PP skis, Holz suspension, NOS, etc.
Include events like the Big Dog Shootout, Hillclimbs and go head to head online.
Build in some avy ratings and variations based on real data or previous slides on known slopes.
Random blown belts and motors just for fun.
