I have a yamaha snomobile game for Playstation. Its alright, there was a polaris snocross game for the Nintendo 64 which was alright 2. Theres been a game made for every kind of motorsport out there almost. Just not sledding. There are some really good motcross games out there, MX unleashed/VS. ATV etc. Why couldnt there be a game built like those.

I would buy a new system so quick if a sledding game was made.

What they need to build the game like is SKATE. Ya not even close in genre, but it is an open map with different locations and challenges throughout. In skate you have a city with skate parks and regular urban settings. You have all the free roam you want! So for the sled game, you have a small town in the middle, like a aplce where your shop is to tune, dealers, etc. Outskirts of town has a location to snocross and hill climb. Everywhere else on the map is a series of trails and mountains, either stay on the trails or go off of them. Along the way, (instead of challenging skaters to trick sessions) you find Burandt challenging you to technical rides through the trees, Ross to some big air jumps, etc. Even riders scared to climb chutes sitting around waiting to dare you to go for it! In SKATE they also had security chasing you out no skate zones that you had to either trick in or ride through without getting busted, how about the DNR or FS chasing you out of no riding zones, and running away from them! hahaha

Anyways, I think this would make an awesome game for any system, except the wii becuase I am all about graphics, and if you do back country riding, I want some HD views! haha I hope this gets made!

dude this would be so fun on the wii, turn the controler to carve in powder and a button to switch sides of the snowmobile. you could have stats for your rider and another set of stats for the sled. you would a get different set of controls for the powder and deeper powder will handle different and be harder to ride in. but it would have to be a big area and a bigger budget game to be seriously fun. i would definetly buy it and whatever system it comes on (hopefully all!!!) because im getting a new system sometime anyways :D:D:D:beer;:D

They need to make it liek atvoff road fury 3 . pick your gear, pick ur sled, have a lil mods for the sled to go along with it.
for ps2 :
controls:
r2/l2 (carve left or right)
r1 =look back
l1 =stunt modifier
x=gas
square=brake
traingle=tricks
o=tricks
select=changeveiw
sleds:
have everybrands :
Sno x sled
mtn sled
trail sled
pro rider sled/ pro rider
then have mods for all the sleds.
Racing:
xc
snox
hillclimb
fr

Thats what i had planned out and have several diff levels and a good multiplayer set up. The shame is it prol be made for xbox 360 or wii or ps3. im to cheap to afford one and like sticking with my ps2

i write prolly a letter a year it seems for the last 5 years about this. An mx atv style game just with sleds is all we ask! id pay $200 for the game if i have to! whatever it takes,for the love of god,we are tired of waiting!

I think game makers just think that sled riders make up a pretty small percentage of the population. So any kind of snowmobile game wouldn't sell. But what they don't realize is that we are probably more addicted to our sport than any of the other off roaders. Besides we're the idiots that spend 12,000 on a sled and then fork out more money to make it even better and less reliable just so we can fork out even more money when we break something. All just to ride 4 months out of the year. which leaves us wanting more for the other 8 months. So i'd say about 98% of snowmobile riders would buy a well made game.
Well it's either that ^^^^^, or anybody smart enough to make a snowmobile game, Doesn't care a whole lot about snomobiling cuz he's been stuck playin video games his whole life.
