Who thinks flatlanders cant ride

On the other hand, I have never ridden in the "Flatlands" so I'm pretty sure there are a few things I could learn about....ditches, or curbs, or whatever dangers abound in the flats but I'm sure I could probably ride just fine there.

I have been riding strictly mountains since my first sled in '88 (I'll save you the math, that's at least a full year before you were born) and I would not be so bold as to spout off about how awesome I ride because I will always have a great deal to learn about mountain riding.

Let your riding speak for itself if the recognition is so important to you.
You come across as a punk when you have to brag about yourself.
Have fun in Revy. I have mountains within a 45 minute drive from my home.

BTW, Look up the old story of the two bulls standing on the hill over the herd of cows in the valley below.

I'm glad to see that a 47 year old is comparing himself to me. I'll be glad o back myself up. Better hope that xtra 9years of riding pays off!!! Pretty sure that other flatlanders on here will back up the answer to this general question of if a flatlander can ride. We can. That's all that needs to be said. None of this other bull shiat about my age and what kind of sled I ride. you guys care way too much. ride on and if we ever meet hopefully I can prove a point.

Mom is dead. for the second time on here. but no dad can't ride b/c he has a bad knee.. Got a scrub last year and got staff. And now b/c of the way he has been walkin he has to get akilies tendon reconstructive surgery along with his total knee in Jan. I ride with my brother, or my friends. And I drive if my dad doesn't, which is most of the time!

Togwotee is too open... we need the tight technical chutes and trees in alpine, straight up huge bowls and lots of make it or wreck it spots, not to mention there is a 40-50 foot cornice drop up there i have been meaning to film... 10:30

M&M may have moved to their new store, but Troy still has his shop and thats where were meeting... Heck i bet we could even talk old Troy into coming along with us (he is a fantastic rider!)

yes troy is a great rider. but i'm goin to tog so. Yea. need to get used to the new sled. 340hp is a lot to handle. another 100hp than what i am used to, but I'm sure it won't take me but a day or so to get used to it. You are more than welcome to come to tog and ride with me though!!! Would be great to get on film. Got some firends coming along that are pretty good riders too. They will try just about anything. One of 'em loves to fly!!! Loves to drop. But alpine doesn't really have enough snow either to go anywhere in case you haven't been following the conditions there!!! Tog sounds good though. Plus I don't wanna ruin the sled my first time out...

It sounds like you are starting to make excuses to get out of riding with him (BTW, Phatty isn't that old) You started chit like a man, now you had better finish it like a man!

I don't care if the sled is yours, your Daddy's or paid for by your Daddy, just STFU and back your constant smack up. You have been challenged by a excellent rider on a 2 stroke and, if I were you, I'd be there on the 27th to ride with him or you have been OWNED by default.

Imo we are all snowmobilers, not flat landers or moutain riders, just snowmobilers, we are all fighting to keep riding areas open, maybe we should be banding together instead of dividing into flat landers or moutain riders or what what ever else were calling ourselves. 50/50. Lived in steamboat and moved to NE. Live here so that kinda makes me one but don't ride here. I only ride the mtns. Snowies, RE, Steamboat Lake, Cooke, Tog., Vail pass. so that makes me a mtn rider but I don't care I ride a sled and have fun doin it!
