Who runs full SLP pipe on 09 M-8 w/o programmer?

I want a bit more power, but do not want a programmer. Any problems running SLP full pipe w/o programmer? SLP says no programmer is needed even when running the full pipe and their air kit? Hard for me to believe? Please let me know if you have had problems or if no problems.

thanks

I put the pipe kit on at the beginning of this year, without a programmer and this thing flat out rips now! I ride around 9000 feet, changed my clutching to 68g weights, 140/340 primary spring, 40/36 helix, and d&d shift assist! this thing runs like a raped ate! I would definitely suggest buying one!

hey

I'v had the slp kit for 900 miles, and it rips all day long. I just reclutched, and she holds 8200 ish on a long pull. 2000-5000 feet.

I run a SLP pipekit on my 09 M8, elevation 0-6000, no issues at all. Have a friend that tells me I periodically blow black smoke out of the sled here and there, so it's getting plenty of fuel. I have checked plugs and they are perfect. I ride in every condition, cold, warm, wet snow, light snow, elevation changes from sea level to high mountains, no issues.

hey

Alaska, stock springs, 75 weights, 48/36 progressive helix. I was only pulling 7600 before changing weights and pre loading secondary. Now it hits 8100 and pulls harder than I ever thought possible. I don't know alot about clutching, so this was all suggested to me. Oh yeah, I put 1100 miles on a 060 belt, and switched to a 046, and it made a huge difference. It pulls hard from engagement to full throttle. My throttle was also loose, and wasn't allowing full throttle.

over 1000 miles this season on my 09 M8 sp, full slp pipe kit, 71 mtx weights
125/340 speedwerx pri. spring, shift assist and all nylon spaces (oem) in driven clutch, 40/36 helix. Leaned out oil pump and plugs look perfect. not a oil pig now, ran it that way all season. Sled kicks bu??. Really happy with the set up. Over 2000 miles on it so far on second season. No controler needed.
Took some time to get clutching spot on but now its perfect. I ride 10k up.

hey

I'm also runnning shift assist, rock rollers, and the slp intake. The intake came with the pipe, so I slapped it on there. The foam gets snow on it, so I put some waterproof aluminum tape, and no problems at all. Tim
