Who makes the best a/m head for the 800R?

800r heads

in testing we found the more you can load it up the harder the sled with the head will pull, such as on a hill or keeping it geared up stk 21. after the dealers were gearing them down to 19 top gear the sleds slowed down in acceleration, 5 lengths in 1000' so we kept higher gearing 20.

I am really impressed with the Terra Alps head. Talked with Ted and had it shipped Greyhound and received it the next day. The workmanship is first class and the install was a breeze.

Next to clutching, I think this is the best upgrade for the XP.

Update to the head, added some weight

Added one gram of weight to the XRS w the slp 13.7:1 head, thing was pulling really hard. Rode quartz on saturday, lots of fresh. back into clicker 4 with deep snow, pulling real hard. very happy with this set up. It really liked the extra load. Now if 800HMX can come sledding we could do some head to head testing.
