Who is riding a UFO kit?

Free ride, that video looked niiiccceee! Looked like you can slalom and porpoise in 2-3' of fluff at speed. Get us a little footage of some ascents, descents, and maybe a little bushwackin'. Nothin left to do but smile, smile, smile

Here is a shot from the side. It was still stumpy in Quebec so I couldn't get to crazy.

With the reversed shock the track tension needs to be v tight to stop ratcheting. Justin has a new driver to stop this. There some other updates to improve handling on the trail and hopefully deep snow performance.

That's interesting, I thought my track was just loose. It was ratcheting a bunch at the end of the .

The brakes were pretty useless but the only time I used them was stopping at the truck. They worked great at home on the lawn before they were getting bathed in snow. There is so much engine braking even with my Rekluse I'm not remotely worried. I am sure they would work if I dragged them and got some heat built up to de-ice them.

I was amazed how it could blow mountain sleds away on the logging roads that we tracked up. 50 to 60 mph on packed powder was crazy fun! I was passing guys on the inside and the outside all day. It makes its own berm lol! On the stuff that set up it took more input and wiggled acting like a bike in a rutted sand/mud track but it never tried to drop me. I sat on the tank and got more of an attack stance for more leverage over the bars on the hard pack.

My friend that thought it was going to suck on trail rode it and got clocked going over 70 by the guy he passed lol! Needles to say he thinks the snow bike it pretty cool.

Forgot about the brakes

Justin is aware of the lack of brakes and will be working on it.

I was doing some inspecting last night and noticed I "adjusted"the spindle on a couple rocks I wacked. I originally place the ski as far forward as possible in the slotted hole you use to pick the rake angle. It was about halfway back after the hits. I noticed the Allen head bolts weren't that tight anymore and the caliper bracket bolt was tweaked a little. I replaced the Allen bolts with hex head bolts because the Allen bolts were getting loose in the wrench already.

I noticed my caliper bracket was tweaked a little from the long bolt yanking on it. I used a block of wood on the ski bracket and a sledge hammer to take some of the bend out of the bracket. I tightened the one bent bolt and left the others loose and hammered the bottem of the ski forward. I got it back about 90%. This might be a problem when I put a wheel back on the bike. Oh well, I can't ride anything without breaking it so this isn't any different.
