I wonder what it will be like going from 650lbs and 275hp on my Yamaha Viper down to 450lbs and 200+ hp on my new 850 Summits. Kinda guessing its going to be way more than a "Fair Trade" in loss of HP vs. Loss of Weight.

You won't have to work so hard or go so fast to do the same things and go the same places.... and push youself & machine beyond. (unless you choose to).
And in the above 50 category... this will leave you with more lead in your clip for the next day of riding (shorter recoup time).... Less fatigue and less mistakes at the end of the day.
BTW... Your supercharged Yami made 275 hp??

170 hp for the 850-Etec at sea level... easy to pick up the extra 30+ hp with a compressor at altitude....

Christopher, I think you are truely going to have a hard time understanding why you were on Yamahas for so long after spending a few days on YOUR 2 stroke getting comfortable.
I am SOOO READY to give it a try this season.
CHANGE IS GOOD.
But I have to admit, the pure RUSH OF POWER that the 3 cylinder Yamahas deliver is damn addictive.
