Hey all I am trying to get some feed back on an idea for my property. I have 14 acre place about 25 km from Revelstoke an i am thinking of putting up two cabins on it to rent out. I would build them to sleep six or more per cabin. I would build it so it was easy to move the big trailers around as well as a hot tub. there would be a shop that every one could use to work on there sled and was thinking about providing fuel as well. i have 5 good riding areas around from 5 to 15 kms away from my place. Each cabin would be fully furnished with stove washer dryer ect... good drying rooms for all the gear. the sky line truck stop is about 10 kms away would be the closest place to eat if you didn't feel like cooking the Great white north is 20 kms away. I also thought about putting up a place to store sled trailers and sled for the guys that travel from far away place through the season. I am looking for what ever feed back that you got thanks for your time.

Sounds like a SOLID investment to me. The only thing that could make that better is to have a shuttle to Zala's
Ha ha How about i cook one meal a week that blows zalas away but i could get a van
throw a dog in the picture to bark at the goons stealing everything and it sounds like a wiener
I have two verry large dogs and no one can see your rig from the hiway it is verry heavy bush. and yes I would be intrested in leasing i have been riding around these part a long time and would sugest that the good riders try to explore some of the other great riding areas that are not as tracked as boulder.
Sounds like a sweet setup.I though prefer to stay in town and have never had a problem getting a room.

id deffently be intrested in sled and trailer storage. The cabins would be nice but you might have a hard go of them so far out of town/away from the resturants. A nice big hot tube is a must.
thanks for the info. I am west of revy and thats what worries me is the distance from restruants i wan to now how many groups are into saving some money and coocking at home 50% of the timee food is not that far away but not somthing you would want to do every day is drive for supper.
