Has anyone tried this silencer on there stock 2009 M8? Just wondering if this would be a good performing silencer to buy. Any reviews would be great.

Works good on a M1000.
Still wondering about the M8. Has anyone tried a light weight can on there new 2009 M8, that had worked well?
I have the mbrp can on my 09 m8, so far so good. I've always have had good luck with mbrp so i stuck with it. My buddy just put a jaws can on his 08 m8, i'm really impressed with it and it sounds sweet(louder and deeper than my mbrp can). I think if i did it over again i would consider going with the jaws can(ceramic coated)!

just had my 09 m1000 out to night with the jaws can on and man i love the sound of it never ran the sled with stock can on yet and have no plans to it was like a 14lbs difference from stock to jaws can for me!!!!!

i tryed that can i ran 3/4 of a season and the welds blew apart
Mines lasted 2 seasons and over 2000 miles. You must have got a bad one.

Ran mine full season last year no problems, huge weight loss, sounds awesome. Got the ceramic coated one looks great,little pricey but well worth it!!!
Saves 7 pounds and sounds cool.

i think it saves more like 16 pounds
I believe the M1000 stock can is quite a bit heavier then the M8 can.
That would explain the weight difference.
Supposively the Jaws weighs 5 lbs, so I've heard the M8 can weighs between 11 and 15 lbs(not sure who is right).
So is should save 6-10 lbs on the M8.
I just bought one for my 09 M8 but haven't gotten it yet. I will weigh for verification.

On the M1000 it might save that much but the stock silencer on the 09 M8 is only 12 pounds. The Jaws Can is 5 pounds.

Right on,my bad! Yeah the can on the 1000 is like a cinder block! I compared weight last year but cant quite remember exact.
