Who has there 16 kit

What's the holdup on the new kits. Grain is in the bins and falls work is wrapping up. I am starting to get excited.

Heard TSS was the hold up, they were waiting for Fox to make all the struts. From what I heard though anything without TSS was shipped out a while back.

OK timbersled, where is my TSS?!!!!
Was planning on picking it up tomorrow... which was delayed the last two weekends, but was pretty confident about this one.

edit: Now waiting on a bracket according to them. The other TSS not in stock are newer or older models, I assume aren't fully developed. So for instance my 2003 crf450, a 2006 yzf450, and the 16 ktm, likely the other new bikes like the kawa. Time to get a CMX? Yeti? when the snow hits I'm buying something, used sx possibly. I just hope they hurry up, big plans for this bike.

Went and bounced mine around last night in about 1' of snow.

The tss is SO sick, was jumping it behind the shop with the front tire on. I think guys are going to be blown away with how well it responds to rider input now.

Not really anybad place to ride when you are talking along the rockies. You probably won't get too many specifics on an open forum as people don't want their favorite places over run. Ha. But go up pretty much any forest service road and you'll find plenty of riding. We just don't want everyplace as crowded as West or as Cooke. Ha.

Ding ding ding :)

Im always willing to show dedicated riders fun terrain though.

Also, got into a little more snow today. And Im going to say even more, the 2016 kit with the Raptor TRS springs and a TSS is stupidly smooth jumping it off rollers in the road. Absolutely cannot wait to send this thing when the snow starts to pile up.

Meanwhile.. .earlier this evening...

Nice! Another member on here got out as well. Said he had to drive in 6 miles to unload, then another 6 miles of front skag on gravel, but once above 8,000 feet, got the float and life was good. I'm going to wait for some base (and my Goldstandard Triple Point Skag) before I go out. I just cant bring myself to do the gravel grinding. Ha. Once this sets up a bit, I think we'll be in good shape. Then waiting for the next storm...

As for the 16 kits, I'm anxious to try one. I know the 15 was a big jump from my 14 kit, so we'll see on the 16 Timbersled...and the other kits. Will be fun to see all the new-on-market kits evolve after this year and what, if anything, Timbersled has in the wings. Saving my pennies (well, not really, so that is the real problem) for my next setup and planning to do a newer bike at the same time. I'll be watching in earnest and waiting.

haha, since I dont have a 16 kit I wasn't gonna say anything in response to wheelhouse, but i have my kit FOR 16, lol. it really was not bad after unloading, gravel underneath yes, do I care? no! after 5 years riding these u learn how to just trust it on some pretty sketchy stuff! i dont go off trail until there is more snow though. where can we find more, further south,? wheelhouse? lol

Hiltz, how do you like the yeti wheel kit? Nice for moving it around? In and out of trailer? Etc.
I know they say it is not meant for riding, but have you tried that yet?

Its super easy to maneuver the bike around with the Yeti wheel kit, much easier than the TS system, plus the design makes more sense (no plastic wheels and ratchet straps). Its all metal and rubber with a quick release screw to throw it on/off. I haven't rode it with it on but with how well designed it is I would trust it works(short distances), seems pretty durable and strong.

yeah i ran into Allen and some timbersled boys in Revelstoke on May Long and they were riding up the trailhead with the skis attached to their backs and front wheel on and then swapping them on the trail and leaving the wheels on the side of the road, all i could think about was how much better this setup would be, nothing on your back ride slow the few miles up the road and then leave these wheels on the side of the trail for the ride down. Makes spring riding so much better.

Still waiting on my 16 ST & TSS, supposed to be in today or tomorrow.

Got my kit Friday, haven't begun to set it up yet. Sure seems like riding with any wheel setup in the front other than a single wheel would be super sketchy. Mine wants to fall over in the driveway with any steering input.
