who has the most miles on their PRO

Seems like if you get over about 800 miles or so they hold up! You guys that went down less than a 1000 any symptons?,, over all seems good,I guess I wont worry then!

of course being a mechanical device and anything can happen at anytime...but it's weird how some went south a bit early..."all I had on it was a turbo!" :becky:

Didn't you get the worry free FOUR YEAR WARRANTY?

1500 miles on my pro.I blew a motor at 1100,blew the skirt of the piston and snapped the rod .They had a new short block in it in 3 weeks.I put this sled threw the ringer, hit a tree mid air pinned and only broke the bumber. On the last ride of the year i ripped the right ski off after the sled carined threw about 10 pine trees. This sled can take a hit better than any other sled. Its all about the four year warranty!

1,300 trouble free WFO 4 feet of POW upside down inside out across on one ski hanging your *** over the cliff try to follow me miles!!! Absolutley the best stock sled I,ve ever owned. Will take a hit better than any Osteoporosis XP ever thought of.

The results here in CO when the exact opposite, All Woog's Boondocker turbo Pro's ran flawless all season! It's all our Stock NA sleds that blew up :faint:

My dealer Spirit Lake Polaris had 3 this winter, Alpine Motor Sports had something like 9 or so? last I head back in Mid May, All NA sleds! Vohk built 30 Turbo Pros, all ran perfect, I only know of 1 turbo that blew up, and that was a SW member that installed and tuned the sled himself.

Way to go!!!! Now you just burst my bubble!!!!!

It happens, I rode the piss out of mine and starting the 2011/12 season with a motor that has less then 300 miles on it. I hope it blows again in April! :becky:

I think that what should be and isn't noted is 3 out of how many? If that is out of 50, not too bad for a first year sled. Considering this is a game of chance based on percentages, that would be the only data that would be important to know. And noting "like 9 or so" sounds a lot like bar-room slander. If you know, you know. If you don't, don't use numbers. As so well put by Mark Twain, "Get your facts first, then distort them as you please." Sorry, this is a major pet-peave of mine.

Had two friends that lost pro's this year. (2011)
1. He was just off idle and seized a piston. Dealer said the chrome was coming off one of the ports and scared the piston and you know the rest of that story. He had less than a 1000 miles on the sled.
2. He had 2000 miles this year and the crank broke directly behind the clutch.

Toy's break. That's life. Still the best sled on the market.

I know of one turbo that blew from VOHK. I know three guys that bought from Eric and a couple guys that are friends with him. I've never heard of 9 Pro's going down, but anything can happen. Tough to believe over the 4M's.

Good point, Being months ago when we all really cared, it's hard to remember exact numbers.

Anything can happen, I never heard of a turbo going down last season? I'd stop in the shop a few times a week after riding and would see another sled all torn apart waiting for UPS to show up with a short block. How ever many sleds went down? I'd like to compare the build dates. There was talk from a local Pro rider (who I won't name, since i didn't hear it from his mouth) that polaris switched bearing manufactures shortly after production started.

I have 2 friends with pros 1 just over 2,000 miles and 1,100 mile both motors are toast. Both are stock machines. Also both lost the primary clutch's earlier in the year one caught his before it broke in half the other did not.

I lost a Mag side crank bearing on mine, My neighbor Pro was a head/piston issue, skirt or ring land, can't recall which one it was?

heard of a stocker that the crank went at 2000 and 700 after that on the new motor the piston skirt dropped. Even in the past it seemed like the modded ones ran longer than the stockers.
