Who has the best method for removing hood foam?

the foam on my 2012 came off super easy. i pulled the majority of it off then handed it to my wife with a roll of duct tape. easy:face-icon-small-hap

Just a question?? does adding heat tape trap heat like the foam that was removed??

I guess my opinion is that without proper venting, any mountain sled riding deep pow in the trees is going to trap some heat. The tape is heat reflective where I feel the foam is more heat absorbing. The biggest reason for me to do the tape was that I didn't want any turbo related heat to damage or discolor either the hood or side panels. So far after 2 seasons it has served its purpose.

Extra venting may have a lot to do with this as well. EW

Holy Smokes, that's venting....

Umm guys it really isn't that hard to remove the foam, if you are so inclined do it up! Heat tape is good if you are worried about melting anything (like when you sled might not be shiney side up:face-icon-small-ton)
