Who has had a Rail Break.

If that is done would you not want some type of bushing on the O.D. of the bolt going through the rail? It will wear on the bolt and wallow it's self out. it's on a 19 so warranty is out.

Shouldn't as long as your clamping against the inside bushing, It would be no different than having the 2 smaller bolts, if you did drill through it would not wear on the bolt or wiggle.

ARP will go back in once I find a fix- just reaching out for those that have had the same issue. Did you do a through bolt? or just replace the stock ones before any break.?

I replaced mine before they broke. I read on here about them breaking last year and decided to be proactive. See how it works out

I ended going to 8mm through bolt, drilled out the bushings to except the larger diameter and using a 10.2 grade bolt

Swap to a smaller diameter washer. The stock washers are rubbing on the rear arm, you want it to only clamp the bushing not the arm.

No bush through rail and bolt was 5” then cut down, shoulder is 4”

Ok all, just curious on what everyone has seen with the alpha rails breaking. So far this year out of our group we have had 3 165" Alphas break rails, 2 in the front and 1 on rear section below the bump stop.

I have broken mine three time front shock mount once and just broke the front of the rail buy the rivit in the front for the second time and i have bumped the air in the front shock up to 65 lbs, i was told i was running to low of pressure on the first one i broke so i bumped it up from 50 psi to 65psi and broke the rail again this suck what can i do im not alone and cat won;t stand behind it

Still on my original rail on my ‘20. I only run 45-50 psi in my front shock because, 1 I’ve always ran my front shock soft on cats and 2 I feel there’s a reason cat wrote 60 psi max in my manual. I’m probably pushing 300lbs geared up and have definitely bottomed her out plenty of times. I don’t really do any jumping though.
