Who has all joined the NRA?

I am a fairly avid gun sportsman (trap, sporting shooter) and have never joined until this year. I can only imagine with all the news the influx of members they are getting!! If you have ever thought of joining you should definately join now.

Every gun owner in the U.S. needs to be a member!!!!!!!!!!!! I am also a member of Gun Owners of America....see my thread I started today!

I am also an avid owner, builder, shooter but gentlemen, think about it.
The time is coming soon that you don't want to be on a list of gun owners or gun rights advocates.
Just my opinion.
I give to them, get involved, and belong to a local gun club that has private membership records.

I could be way off but some of the paranoia is based on facts.

I don't even really talk much about my "Belongings" anymore.

(Oops, I just did) !

you people are crazy to think they will come and get your guns because you are a member.

Lifetime member here. The NRA really helped me out through their disabled shooters program when I was getting a local guy set up to shoot from his chair using only his chin and sip n puff straw to fire. This young man was paralized from the neck down in a swimming accident a year ago and thought he would never hunt again.

Now that we are dialed in, NRA has both shooting competitions and hunting opportunities for him. They do a stand up job even beyond fighting for our gun rights. Join up if you haven't, I really think there has never been a more important time. Proud NRA Member. EW

^^^ That is awesome, you just beat the pizz out of all of us in the "good person" department!

I'm a member, feel it is probably a pretty good thing to invest in right now.

he always does.

not a member but i probably should be...even though i don't own guns.

I watch a kid in my high school who has muscular distrophy (spelling?), anyways he has that same set up on a 308 and he has dumped 3 small bucks and an elk, those are awesome! Ohh and i play video games with him, he kicks my ***

Honestly, i think being a member of the NRA makes you a target by the government, im not one of the "the sky is falling! " type but i trust the gov about as far as i can throw opera....and that ***** is fat! :p

EricW..................... you must have a 50" chest to hold that big heart of yours. Not long ago you GAVE an 800 motor to a guy with disabilties and now this. The world needs more people like you. KEEP IT UP!!!! OH, and I always give extra to the NRA when ordering from Midwayusa.com or cheaperthandirt.com.

FYI, I have modified the original version from what is in the pic. Problem I found was the small screen on the scope camera. The other problem was the hassle of removing the scope camera ring mounts to swith the camera between guns. My buddy likes to shoot a compressed air pellet gun in his back yard, then go to a 17 HMR for squirrels, or larger caliber for bigger game. I wanted a way to 1. Allow him to see a bigger/better picture especially in direct sunlight, and, 2. Be able to switch the scope camera between guns quickly, and, 3. not depend on the rechargable battery of the scope camera which never lasted very long since new.

We have solved all the above. If you are interested I would be glad to do the same mods to his (your buddy with MD) free of charge. End result is 1. A Hi Resolution 9" picture by wiring a video out from the current 2.5" screen to a Sony Hi-Res DVD player that we built a custom adjustable mount for. 2. We are now able to switch the scope camera gun to gun with Weaver style thumb screw mounts. 3. Entire system is hard wired to the chair batteries with quick connects. This is now a way more user friendly system.

Sorry about the thread poach, but I am jacked about this deal and would love to see all disabled folkes who desire be able to hunt/shoot again.

If you want to learn more or get going on his set up, feel free to give me a call 509-738-2611. Thanks everyone for the kind words (seems many of you didn't know me my first 25 or so years of life, cuts big into my good guy average. lol) Have a good one. EW
