I remember people on this forum doing this about 6 years ago on the GenII RMKs.
Everyone that did it said it worked fine.
If you can get the rebar down past the steeing hoop bearing then you'll be FINE!!!!!!!!!
Just stuff a rag down there and use the rebar to push it down as far as you can...then dump your epoxy down there. It shouldn't leak down past the rag.
my question is do you have to pull the motor to chang it or are you able to sneak it around
thanks
I installed a Wildchild post in mine without disturbing the engine location.
However, I do have little girly hands
Also, if you do not have good mechanical dexterity, forget about it.

I suppose a $10 tether would prevent the runaway tree cutter as well, I'm putting one on myself.
So is the EDGE post that much stronger? I just put on a 8" riser.......
Here are a few pics of my old sled's steering post.
I originally had an adjustable Fabcraft steering post that broke just below the gussets, so I replaced it with a stock Edge steering post and raised the aftermarket aluminum collar up about 6" by making a bracket out of tubing and thru bolting it all together.
Even with a 6" rox riser the result was a rock solid post with no flex.

How long did he think it was going to take to get your new one?
