Ahtanum Sightings

Yesterday (Tuesday, 10/26) I saw a truck with at least 9" heading down; also saw a XP in the back of a white Dodge Ram LB heading down. I didn't see snow in the suspension, though.

Did somebody make first tracks of the season on Darland?

Green Lake snotel is only showing 7-8", next 2 week forecast is fairly mild, but wet.

We have 3-1/2" here in Iowa. Oh wait, that is the grass. You guys out west always have to rub it in. LOL Tear it up for us that are still mowing.

I kinda thought pink wasn't your normal hair color. Besides, if some one had pink hair at a White Swan football game, everybody would have known!
On the good side, Diana hasn't changed a bit from what I remember. I only wish I could age that gracefully. I did talk to a couple of people that were at the game, remembered you and D; when I told them that was Diana Lawrence and her hubby, gotta a couple "oh, thats who that was. I remember her". Gotta love growin up in a small town.

We went for a lil drive today... If it weren't for all the hunters running around we could have got a ride in after all....

When looking at these, keep in mind that I have a leveling kit and 33s on my truck

the tape measure was 1 mile from the climbs at the end of the road at section 3...

Hopefully we will get more snow soon and hunting season will end.... I dont know when the seasons are scheduled for, but we probably saw 20 different rigs up there including a game warden and the roads with snow on em were well used.

By the time you drive up high enough to unload, you're only a few miles from the top... the snow level is very high...
