Whistler HeliSledder

Its buried...........tons of snow and the snowcat is in the Okanagan. So they have not been able to keep the place cleared. They hope to be back there next year.

I was there on Saturday and it is still gone. There is still a ton of snow there but that means there is at least 25 feet left. Wow!!! I am actually starting to think he took it out of there????? This time of the year you can usually see at least half of the trailer.

I sure hope it gets pulled out of there. why do people think they can leave their garbage in the back country?

It's not Garbage, it's a nice deck to sit and have lunch, and one of us may be grateful to have it as an emergency shelter one day. Thanks for keeping it there Dave.

Summit Seeker, was that your tracks back to Harrison Hut? We headed back there on Sunday but turned about 5 K short (didn't think we had enough fuel).

No....after we left Helisledders place we went to Ryan Lake and then back through Brandywine. I have not been back to Harrison Hut since the 90's. We did 138 KM that day and a couple of the guys were also running low on fuel.

If I had my time back I should have probed to see if the trailer was there? If it is actually buried, there is more snow there now (May) than any other year I remember. I have only seen it buried one other year....we spent some time there with Dave's business partner helping dig out the groomer that was at least 10 feet down with the glass broken out from the weight of the snow.

it is there.
it is burried.
been there a few tims this season.
last time, ate lunch in the trailer mid March
had to dig down to get to the door to get it open.
